Tyler is originally from Park City, Utah and has lived in Los Angeles for the past five years, and in his current apartment for the past two years. He is a co-director at the Los Angeles Center for Community Law and Action (LACCLA). Together with his partner Noah Grynberg, he has helped and inspired many people within the East Los Angeles community by defending those who would otherwise not have legal defense and helping organize tenants in supporting each other’s cases and community outreach.
A bit more about LACCLA: LACCLA organizes buildings and neighborhoods in Los Angeles County and beyond to push back against the displacement of low-income residents from their communities. They also provide free legal services where necessary in support of our organizing campaigns. They seek to create an environment where lawyers, organizers, and members of the public collaborate on coherent strategies to sustain healthy, affordable, and united neighborhoods.
